Straw America was founded 2020 by Larry Thompson and Amber Schwab. Combined they have over 40 years’ experience in the pine straw and landscaping industry. In 1997, Larry founded Custom Pine Straw and with Amber by his side, they transformed it into one of the largest pine straw wholesalers in Florida. In 2015, Larry retired and sold Custom Pine Straw. Since taking some time off to spend with his wife and son, he decided it was time to get back to work and Amber and him established Straw America.

Even though Straw America was just founded, with over 40 years of experience that they bring is unparalleled in the pine straw industry. We are located in Bell Florida and proudly serve the entire South Eastern United States. We take great pride in our integrity, loyalty, forestry management and products we provide. Straw America provides pine straw to all sorts of clients no matter the size – businesses, residences, lawn and garden stores, golf courses and more.
